p.s. this reminds me so much of the time we spent Christmas in Paris. It was years ago, before Christmas trees were on every corner flower shop. We trekked all the way out to IKEA on public transit to find one. It promptly died, dropping needles everywhere. We called it our Charlie Brown tree.
