That's a good goal, one that we've had to stick to otherwise we can't make it at this time of year. I think it's also a good habit because it means you're paying the Lord first and trusting that all will work out.
A good goal indeed. After a couple of embarrassing bounced checks made out to the ward years ago, I started getting a cashier's check from the bank shortly after each payday. I enjoy knowing that it can never ever bounce, and that we won't come up short later in the month.
Being a full tithe payer is a great feeling, isn't it?
I'm still avoiding my bishop and his counselors so that I don't have to go through tithing settlement. Apostate is my middle name. Someday I'll get this tithing thing under control. :)
LOL with Emilysuze. You and me, sister. You have to hide until mid-January when they finally give up. LOL
We used to pay every paycheck and it was sooooooo much easier than once a month. But a counselor complained to me once about paying so often and making him stay late at church just for my check. I stopped doing it after that and now I'm sooooooo bad about paying just on Fast Sunday. The first paycheck of the month always goes to the mortgage. It was easier the other way. Blah.
