i had to work on thanksgiving. not that i'm complaining--muslims get WAY MORE holidays than americans do, so i will definitely trade a week in december for one day in november. plus, what this meant was that i didn't have to help with thanksgiving dinner--i just showed up in time to eat. and if it makes you feel any better, i just ate two large slices of pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. i should send you the recipe. it is delish.

I love pumpkin cake. Suprisingly, my kids do too.
