:::Working Class Weekend:::

Sunday night, and I can feel the magic draining out of the weekend. Sunrise, sunset...

Tonight was the last episode of Downton Abbey. Have you been watching? The Dowager Countess has a great line during the first dinner party scene. When the new (and middle class) heir to Downton explains that he'll be able to work as a lawyer during the day and help run the estate at night and on the weekends, she replies, "What...what is a 'weekend'?" Oh, Dowager Countess, I wish I had to ask that question.

I'm going to go sit in bed now and wait for my lady's maid to bring me some cocoa.

I recorded that show but haven't gotten to watch any of it yet.

I'm currently trying to be happy and positive about going to work again today and about all the stuff I have to do for Youth Conference this week. I just keep reminding myself it will all before over this time next week...except for the going to work part of course.

You left my lady's maid in Huntington Beach when you moved East.

Okay, I heard about this show somewhere and have been recording it but haven't watched any of it because I missed the previous seasons! Can I just dive in or what?

No, you definitely have to start at the beginning with this one. I know they had full episodes on the PBS website last week.

Oh! Sorry, dur. Reading comprehension, Rebekah.

The first season is what you recorded, it just made its way over to the US. They are filming the second season now.
