This is why I don't leave my house during the summer. Do you see that?!! 78.4 degrees.
'But, that's nice and cool, Rebekah.'
Yeah?
87% humidity!!! What the heck, people!
Some of the downstairs windows are fogged up, not because it's nice and chilly and refreshing outside, but because it's like a steamy, hot, wet blanket out there.
And it's only 11:14 am!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that those blasted bugs are out! They hang out in the trees and make this rolling, vibrating, buzzing sound.
It really is a jungle out here.

I don't know how you're surviving it, I'd be a grumpy mess for sure!
I detest humidity. It's such a bane! After living in the East for 5 years, I never could get used to it. And now when I visit, I marvel that I lived there with that wet blanket effect. I don't blame you a bit for wanting to stay inside -- it seems like I was always dashing from one air-conditioned place to another.
love the bugs, sd has them also. sounds like an invasion!
Happy Birthday to your mom!
Boo to humidity. So gross. Good luck navigating the steaminess and bugginess.
Humidity makes my soul limp.
