i hope i have more money the next time the economy tanks. the sales, the sales! i went to macy's yesterday to use a gift card, and i felt like crying because i knew there was no good reason for me to buy the housewares i wanted. i had these tiny preparation bowls from martha stewart in my grubby little hands but i willed myself to put them down after catching sight of a future of perpetual poverty brought on by impulsive indulging.
oh well. the Lord invited the rich man to sell all of his possessions and give to the poor, so i guess it's a waste of tears to lament over brightly colored preparation bowls.
